Introduction
In 2005, our work celebrated the dynamism and diversity of international law - in
topic areas, in players, and in frameworks. 2005 saw the continued expansion of
ASIL information delivery vehicles, dialogue programs, and member contacts. Th ese
pages will report on ASILs increased coverage of international developments, easier
access to information, and broader member participation in programs including
through fi nancial support. Th ey will highlight the elements of an up-to-date
institutional platform that has forged new bonds and channels of communication for
the Societys partners, members, and associates.
As we celebrate the ASILs Centennial in 2006, we reaffi rm our collective dedication
to the mission of advancing international law. Our core programs, the American
Journal of International Law and the Annual Meeting, remain the center of an
expanding array of programs including a number outside of the United States.
ASILs worldwide membership serves to foster a global community of colleagues
