The newsletter is aimed at informing you about the work of the CLEF project and any relevant development at European level regarding enforcement and consumer protection. To know more about the CLEF project, please have a look at our website: www.clef-project.eu Guidelines The CLEF project will regularly produce guidelines that will be compiled in a single document at the end of the project The first guidelines present the principal elements to be considered when reflecting on consumer organisations involvement in consumer redress in Europe. They are based on the discussions held at the first CLEF meeting that took place in November 2006 in Brussels, Belgium. They address, amongst other things, tools and remedies for consumer redress, the relationship between consumer organisation and public authorities….
